Owen Schlipf

Owen Schlipf CPA, CMA, has over a decade of experience in corporate accounting, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Accounting at Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. since October 2013, following roles as Manager of Corporate Accounting and Manager of Accounting Business Process. Previously, Owen held the position of President at the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants from June 2019 to June 2021, where leadership involved providing continuing professional education opportunities for finance and accounting professionals. Additionally, Owen served as an Adjunct Accounting Professor Emeritus at Tulsa Community College from January 2012 to May 2015 and worked as a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant and Financial Reporting Accountant at Blueknight Energy Partners, LP from January 2010 to April 2013. Early in the career, experience included assurance work at HoganTaylor LLP from June 2008 to December 2009. Owen Schlipf holds a M.S. in Accounting/Finance from Oklahoma State University, attained in 2008.
