Sylvia Ceacero is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the CEO of the Greater Victoria Coalition to End Homelessness and as the CEO of Sylvia Ceacero Consulting, Sylvia specializes in strategic planning, operational management, and risk management for non-profit organizations. Previous positions include Interim Executive Director at The Vancouver Fringe Festival, Executive Director of the Simon Fraser Student Society, and various CEO roles with organizations such as the BC Seniors Living Association and the National Association of Federal Retirees. Sylvia holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Strategy and HR, and possesses certificates in governance, risk management, and change management, among others. A strong advocate for seniors and community services, Sylvia has a proven track record in stakeholder relations, fundraising, and public speaking.

The Alliance to End Homelessness in the Capital Region is a partnership of local service providers, non-profit organizations, all levels of government, and various businesses located in Greater Victoria, British Columbia. The Alliances' mission is to to ensure experiences of homelessness in the Capital Region are rare, brief, and non-recurring and that housing and supports are culturally adaptive, creative, caring, and person-centered.
