Tony Sneed has progressive experience in successfully directing complex projects, developing strategies and leading high performance teams to further enhance key initiatives and overall business operations. He is adept at cultivating partnerships and building lasting relationships across all utility business sectors and has specialized knowledge in infrastructure rehabilitation methods with emphasis on program development for operational improvements.
Mr. Sneed strategically manages operations for a $25,000,000 service provider while providing direct leadership and support for multiple utilities. This includes budget development, capital improvement planning, and regional solution development. This is accomplished through a hands-on approach that focuses on regulatory compliance, interagency relationships and employee development for succession.
Prior to his current responsibilities, Mr. Sneed served in the United States Army at Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, MS from 2011 to 2012 as Chief of Environmental Science. There, he provided logistical for all units deploying through Camp Shelby including water & sewer treatment for post command, pre and post deployment briefings for soldiers, and operational control of Preventive Medicine Team.
Before joining Alliance, Mr. Sneed worked at Insituform Technologies, SBP, Inc. in Bessemer, AL as a Project Manager and General Manager and at Limestone County Water & Sewer Authority in Athens, AL as General Manager for a collective 11 years. The previous 8 years, he served as Collection Systems Manager for Mobile Area Water & Sewer Service in Mobile, AL developing and leading a high-performance team inspecting and mapping sewer systems.
