Mike Wawszczak

Mike Wawszczak is the current General Counsel at Alliance. Mike has also served as the Managing Partner and Founder of White Tie Legal, and as General Counsel for Clearbit. Prior to that, they were the General Manager of Atrium Contracts and Corporate Counsel for Splunk.

Mike has a long history of working with startups, creators, DAOs, protocols, and anons. Mike specializes in providing advice where technology moves faster than law, such as data brokerages, marketplace platforms, and web3. Their services include: commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and governance of decentralized autonomous organizations and protocols.

During their time at Clearbit, Mike was responsible for managing all legal functions for the company. When the company was hit with a reduction in force due to the pandemic, Mike continued to support the executive team as outside counsel. Mike was in charge of managing privacy compliance, data supply, and commercial negotiations.

At Splunk, Mike served as Corporate Counsel for Innovation and Data. In this role, they were responsible for supporting the company's product development initiatives and advising on data privacy and security compliance issues.

Mike is a highly experienced legal professional with a passion for startups and new technologies. Mike is dedicated to providing their clients with the best possible advice and guidance in order to help them navigate the ever-changing landscape of the tech industry.

Mike Wawszczak attended the University of Chicago for their Bachelor of Arts, where they studied Law, Letters, and Society. Mike then attended the University of Michigan Law School for their Doctor of Law.

They work with William Robinson - Core Contributor, Accelerator, Simon Chamorro - Head of Growth, and Jocelyn Robancho - Core Contributor, Head of Accelerator. Their manager is Qiao Wang, Co-Founder, Core Contributor, Co-Pilot.
