Desmond Tan

Desmond Tan is currently the Managing Director and Head of Institutional Business for Southeast Asia and Hong Kong at AB. They have extensive experience in the finance sector, having held positions such as Director of Institutional Sales at Amundi Asset Management and Senior Director of Strategic Markets at UOB Asset Management. Desmond’s career began as an Accountant at Asia General Holdings before serving as Assistant Director in the Strategic Development Department at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. They earned a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Monash University.
