Eric Winograd

Eric Winograd started their career as a Public Relations professional at American University in Cairo in 1996. From there, they worked as a Senior Trader/Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 2000 to 2005. Following that, they were an Economist/Strategist at Drake Management from 2005 to 2008, where they were involved in macroeconomic analysis, FX strategy, and fixed income strategy. Eric then joined HSBC as a Senior Strategist from 2008 to 2010, focusing on macroeconomic and investment strategy. After HSBC, they worked at MKP Capital as a Managing Director, Strategy and Research from 2010 to 2016, responsible for macroeconomic strategy and research for a global macro hedge fund. Since 2017, Eric Winograd has been serving as the Chief Economist at AB.

Eric Winograd attended Dartmouth College from 1992 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies. Eric then went on to study at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a Master's degree in International Economics and Middle Eastern Studies.
