James McNeill

James McNeill, CFA has a diverse work experience in finance and research. James started their career as an Investment Analyst at Vintage Asset Management, where they analyzed global equity securities and contributed to the outperformance of multi-asset investment strategies. James then joined Butterfield Private Bank as an Investment Manager/Fund Analyst, co-managing $300 million and chairing investment council meetings. James later worked at Russell Investments as a Research Analyst, creating research reports and conducting investment manager meetings globally. James joined AB Bernstein as a Summer Senior Research Associate in 2018 and later became a VP, Senior Research Associate, focusing on US internet and telecom sectors. Currently, they hold the position of VP, Senior Research Analyst at AllianceBernstein. In addition to their industry roles, James also worked as a Career Management Center Coach at Columbia Business School in 2023. James'sexperience spans from fundamental research and analysis to portfolio management and advising on significant assets. James is a CFA charterholder.

James McNeill, CFA holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in the Value Investing Program from Columbia Business School, which they obtained between 2017 and 2019. James also earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Classics & Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Winchester College from 2001 to 2006, where they focused on Latin, Ancient Greek, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics at the A Level. Additionally, James holds several certifications including the FSA Credential from the SASB - Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, the CFA Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute, and the Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK, which they obtained in 2020, 2015, and 2012, respectively.
