Abbey Ekong

Abbey Ekong is a research coordinator at AllianceChicago. Abbey previously worked as a care coordinator at Center on Halsted from June 2019 to December 2021.

Abbey Ekong studied Interdisciplinary Health Services at Western Michigan University before completing a degree in Health Science Studies at Baylor University. They then went on to receive certification from the Illinois Department of Public Health as a Certified HIV/HCV Tester and Counselor.

They are on a team with Jodi Simon - Health Services Research Scientist, Maggie Hamielec - Research Coordinator, and David Liss - Health Services Research Scientist. Abbey Ekong reports to Nivedita Mohanty, Chief Research Officer & Director of Evidence Based Practice.
