Megan Monahan

Megan Monahan is an experienced nonprofit professional with a diverse background in development and project management. Currently serving as the Grant Project Manager at AllianceChicago since April 2023, Megan previously held various roles at Chicago Opera Theater from October 2015 to February 2022, including Director of Development and Associate Director of Development, Institutional & Legacy Giving. Megan's career also includes positions at Holsten Human Capital Development, NFP as a Development Assistant, and at Canright Communications as a Part-time List Manager. Earlier experience includes roles at the Association of American Geographers, where Megan worked as Special Projects Manager and Editor, and as a Research Assistant and Intern. Megan holds a Master of Nonprofit Management from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The George Washington University.
