Andrew Alleyne

Andrew Alleyne has worked as a Backend Java Developer at AllianceTek Inc. since 2021. Theirroles include working on AWS Security related issues with S3 policies for user access support for all other AWS products such as S3, RDS, and Elastic Load Balancing, developing API for using AWS Lambda to manage the servers and run the code in AWS, working with developers to work on critical issues/bugs found in production, and developing and implementing the MVC Architectural pattern using Spring Framework including JSP, and Servlets. Theirroles included developing the business layer making it configurable, extensible, and easy to manage and maintain using Spring AOP, designing the DAO with the persistence layer to achieve the Object-Relation mapping with the MySQL database using Hibernate and JPA, and writing HQL queries for various operations involving data retrieval and manipulation operations as per the client actions.

From 2019 to 2021, Andrew Alleyne worked as a Backend Java Developer at Linkup Studio. Theirroles included being involved in the Design phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in this project which included performing OOA and Design and Modeling using UML, developing services and controllers for client and manager modules using Spring MVC and Spring Core, and integrating with Spring framework for dependency injection.

From 2018 to 2019, Andrew Alleyne worked as a Backend Java Developer at Magneto IT Solutions. Theirroles included being involved in setting environments for the application that were being developed, performing program analysis and preparation of program specifications, observation logs, consolidation reports and recommendation reports, coding with Collections framework using Java, J2EE, XML, and JavaScript, and writing JSP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for the client front-end and writing Web services.

From 2017 to 2018, Andrew Alleyne worked as a Backend Java Developer at Unified Infotech. Theirroles included designing and developing J2EE and PHP Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for business applications on Web and client-server environments using Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, Hibernate, and Spring Framework, working on core concepts of object-oriented programming like JAVA Threads, Exception Handling, Networking, and JDBC Connectivity and Collections and File handling in JAVA, and developing mid-tier java components like DAO and Service components.

Finally, from 2016 to 2017, Andrew Alleyne worked as a Software Engineer at Quytech - Mobile Apps | AI | AR | VR | Blockchain | Gaming. Theirroles included developing the client-side validation using JavaScript, and jQuery, developing the application as per the functionality required from the analysis, and developing custom storefront layout and shopping experience.

Andrew Alleyne is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Computer Science at Queens College, which they began in 2020 and expects to complete in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Network and System Administration/Administrator from CUNY New York City College of Technology in 2017, having started in 2015. Andrew also holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management/Manager from Borough of Manhattan Community College, which they earned in 2015 after studying there from 2012. Additionally, Andrew has obtained four certifications: Java: Data Structures from LinkedIn in 2022, Credly Member from Credly in 2017, Unlawful Harassment Prevention Honors from Workplace Answers (an EVERFI Company) in 2017, and Data Forensics Basics from Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service in 2017.
