Jaap Schouten

Jaap Schouten is a Product Owner at Alliander since October 2018, focusing on collaborative efforts in developing software for load modelling on the electricity grid through mathematical models. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Scientist and Technical Trainee at Run2Day from November 2015 to September 2018, and as a Sales Consultant at Albert Heijn from July 2008 to February 2015, where responsibilities culminated in a team leadership position. Additionally, Jaap served as a Student Mentor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in late 2012, aiding freshman Mathematics students. Jaap holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with earlier education completed at Bisschoppelijk College Broekhin.
