Rick Nijenhuis

Rick Nijenhuis is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Business Controller for Digitalization at Alliander since March 2024. Previously, Rick held various roles at Bayer from February 2020 to January 2024, primarily focused on IT finance coordination and managing operational and investment costs for the EMEA Digital Transformation Crop Science department. Rick's expertise includes process improvement and automation, demonstrated by the successful implementation of tools utilizing Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI. Prior to Bayer, Rick worked at VodafoneZiggo in multiple capacities, including Business Controller for OPEX B2C and Strategy and B2B, where significant contributions were made to budgeting, forecasting, and financial control. Additional experience includes roles at CEVA Logistics, Vodafone Netherlands, and other organizations, with a solid educational foundation comprising master's degrees in International Financial Management and Business and Economics from the University of Groningen and Uppsala University, respectively.
