Shawn Horwitz

Shawn Horwitz is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Alliant. From 1990 to 1997, Mr. Horwitz was employed by a nationally recognized tax credit syndication firm as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer where he was responsible for the financial affairs of the company and its affiliates.

Additionally, he was integrally involved in the raising of equity, the acquisition process and the day-to-day running of the company. From 1984 to 1989, Mr. Horwitz was employed in the Chicago office of Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser as Senior Manager in the real estate industry group. From 1981 to 1984, he was employed as an auditor by Arthur Young & Co.

Mr. Horwitz received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Rhodes University in South Africa. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
