Evan Hill

Evan Hill has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Evan started their career at AGB Business Publications as an Art Director, where they designed and produced page layouts for car magazines. Evan then moved on to Accent Communications as a Senior Graphic Designer, where they determined design approaches for various clients and created a range of marketing materials. Evan's career then led him to FERS Accounting, where they worked as a Graphic Design Manager, responsible for designing and producing marketing materials and managing the production process.

In 1994, Evan founded their own company, Evan Hill Design, Inc., where they served as the Chief Creative Officer. Evan managed the creative direction of the company and led a team in developing design solutions for clients. Later, Evan joined Discover Financial Services as a Creative Director within the internal agency, INCITE, managing the creative team for marketing to existing cardmembers. Evan was responsible for conceptual and strategic design and collaborated with business partners and brand clients.

After their time at Discover, Evan joined Alliant Credit Union as the Head of UX Design, overseeing the user experience design for the company. Most recently, they joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a UX/UI Design Lead Instructor, teaching university-level courses in design fundamentals, design process, and design collaboration.

Throughout their career, Evan has demonstrated a strong background in graphic design, creative direction, and user experience design, contributing to the success and innovation of the companies they have worked for.

Evan Hill has a diverse education history. In 2020 and 2021, they attended MIT Sloan Executive Education, where they focused on Mastering Design Thinking. Prior to that, in 2019, they pursued an Integrated Marketing Communications Certificate at DePaul Driehaus College of Business. In 2016, Evan obtained a User Experience Design degree from General Assembly.

In addition to their formal education, Evan has also acquired various certifications. In 2022, they obtained a Diversity, Inclusion, & Sensitivity certification from Traliant. Furthermore, in 2021, they completed a Mastering Design Thinking program offered by Emeritus. Lastly, Evan possesses a Certificate of Registration from the United States Copyright Office, obtained in 2010.
