James Braun

James "Jay" Braun is a highly experienced rigger and stagehand with an extensive background in the entertainment industry, currently serving in multiple roles at Alliant Energy Center, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., and Wisconsin Center District since 2019, along with ongoing freelance work since 2012 for various notable companies. Prior experience includes significant positions at TLS Productions, Riverside Theater, and Live Nation Entertainment, where responsibilities ranged from coordinating complex rigging setups for events to training new employees and overseeing stagecraft operations. In addition to entertainment, Braun has a background in property management and education, having managed residential properties and served as a teaching/research assistant in civil and structural engineering at Marquette University, where Braun earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree.
