Jenna Bates

Jenna Bates, CDR, currently serves as a Human Resources Business Partner at Alliant Energy since August 2017, with prior roles as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and Talent Acquisition Consultant, focusing on building the workforce and sourcing candidates for challenging positions. Previously, Jenna worked at hibu from May 2008 to August 2017 as a Corporate Recruiter, where responsibilities included collaborating with hiring managers, conducting interviews, and managing salary negotiations. Jenna also held the position of Employee Activities Co-chair at hibu, organizing team events and community fundraising efforts. Additionally, as a Corporate Training Specialist II, Jenna developed and facilitated training sessions for employees across multiple locations. Jenna holds a degree in Organizational Communication, along with a certificate in Training and Development from the University of Northern Iowa, and an Associate of Arts from Kirkwood Community College.
