Melissa McCarville

Melissa McCarville is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and public relations. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Partner at Alliant Energy since June 2021, McCarville previously held managerial and strategic roles with the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance and the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce. Prior experience includes managing U.S. and Canadian public relations for Choose Chicago and leading communications initiatives for the John G. Shedd Aquarium. McCarville holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Journalism from the University of Northern Iowa, awarded in 2005.
