Michelle Burton

Michelle Burton is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in employee benefits law and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as VP, Compliance Consultant at Alliant Insurance Services since October 2025, Michelle previously held the position of Vice President, Employee Benefits Compliance Counsel at The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, Inc., where strategic guidance on ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other pertinent laws was provided. Michelle's prior experience includes working as an ERISA Attorney at PartnerComm, Inc., performing compliance audits, drafting legal documents, and serving as a technical expert in benefits-related legislation. Michelle holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Cooley Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University.
