Petar Petkov

Petar Petkov is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Deputy Chief Audit Executive and Senior Internal Auditor at Allianz Bulgaria since July 2021. In addition, Petar is a member of IIA Bulgaria since January 2022. Prior to these roles, Petar worked as a Financial Controller at Fast Track Ltd and held various positions at PwC, including Senior Audit Associate, where responsibilities included evaluating financial statement presentations, assessing risks of material misstatement, and performing audit procedures in compliance with ISAs. Previous experience also includes working as a Senior Specialist at Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria, providing customer support and monitoring for fraudulent transfers. Petar holds a Master's degree in Auditing and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy, along with a high school diploma in Computers and Technology. Currently, Petar is pursuing ACCA qualifications.
