Simone Genovese

Simone Genovese has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Simone currently holds the position of Chief Compliance Officer at Allianz Direct, starting in October 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Allianz Partners, where they served as the Head of Legal and Compliance Asia Pacific from August 2018. Simone also held the role of Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs - Southern Europe Regional Head of Compliance from July 2011 to July 2018. Before joining Allianz Partners, Simone was the Head of Legal Department and Corporate Affairs at Mondial Assistance Italia S.p.a. from January 2007 to July 2012. Their earlier career includes sales support and sales roles at Motorola in 1995.

Simone Genovese earned a Laurea degree in Giurisprudenza from Università degli Studi di Milano from 1993 to 2000. Prior to that, Simone obtained a Diploma in Ragioneria from ITC Sraffa from 1987 to 1992.
