Anand Gupta

Anand Gupta, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and equity mandates. Currently serving as Managing Director at Allianz Global Investors, Anand oversees India equity mandates and related strategies. Prior to this role, Anand was the Portfolio Manager and Head of India at Eastspring Investments Singapore Limited, managing diverse institutional and retail equity mandates. Anand has also held key positions as Fund Manager at SBI Mutual Fund, where portfolio management for the SBI Resurgent India Opportunities Fund was a primary responsibility, as well as research and analytical roles at B&K Securities, HSBC Securities, and Grant Thornton/Walker Chandiok. Anand holds multiple degrees, including a CFA from the CFA Institute, a CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a B.Com from Panjab University, along with a recent Advance RI course in Environmental, Social, and Governance from PRI Academy.
