Pawel Szulc

Pawel Szulc has extensive experience in the insurance industry, particularly in the IT and transformation sectors. Pawel currently serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Allianz Benelux at Allianz Nederland. In this role, they lead the strategic development and execution of an innovative IT strategy, focusing on digitalization and modernization across the region's IT landscape.

Prior to their current role, Pawel worked as a Senior IT, Ops and Transformation Manager at Allianz, where they assisted in implementing IT, Operations, and Transformation strategies within various business units. Pawel also served as a Group Project Portfolio and Transformation Manager, where they developed and executed global and local Operations and IT strategies.

Before joining Allianz, Pawel worked at Allianz Technology as a Program Manager and a Senior Business Solutions Architect. In these roles, they successfully led multiple project teams, managed budgets and resources, and championed the cohesive implementation of strategic platforms.

Pawel's early career included roles at Nationale-Nederlanden, where they worked as a PeopleSoft Senior Functional Consultant, a Finance Transformation Project Manager, a Business Analyst Team Leader, and an Accountant Expert/Business Analyst. In these positions, they successfully analyzed, designed, and implemented solutions for finance business processes, managed system deliveries, led international teams, and performed system administration functions.

Throughout their career, Pawel has demonstrated a strong ability to drive innovation, improve performance, increase efficiency, and deliver successful IT, operations, and transformation initiatives.

Pawel Szulc completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting at Akademia Finansów w Warszawie from 2004 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an Executive Leadership certification from LinkedIn in 2022 and an ABS Level 2 Functional certification from Allianz in 2016.
