Amir Orujov

Amir Orujov, Ph.D., is a data scientist currently employed at Allianz Österreich since March 2023. Previously, Amir served as a research assistant at USI Università della Svizzera italiana from November 2016 to October 2022, where Amir completed eight projects involving data analysis and web scraping using Stata, R, and Python. Additionally, Amir lectured on programming fundamentals with Python and R at Azerbaijan State University of Economics for 50 hours. Earlier experience includes extracting data with web-crawling tools and working as a back-end developer for the E-government project at the Data Processing Center of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Management and a Master's in Informatics and Economics from USI Università della Svizzera italiana, along with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics from Baku State University.
