Maya joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) as an Associate in March, 2019, after already being part of the team as an intern and working student during her studies. Since 2021, she supports the CEO directly as Executive Assistant. Maya holds a Master’s degree in international management from the [University of St. Gallen](/org/university-of-st-gallen), spending one semester at the [City University of Hong Kong](/org/city-university-of-hong-kong). She received her Bachelor’s degree in business management from the [University of Zurich](/org/university-of-zurich). Before joining [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x), Maya gained valuable working experience in strategy consulting at Simon-Kucher & Partners and private banking at DZ-Privatbank’s Singapore office. She has also worked with the Luxemburgish Embassy in Berlin and for Metro AG in Düsseldorf.

Maya Rollinger

Michael is the Executive Assistant to the CEO. In his role, he is responsible for managing all content-related topics of Allianz X’s CEO, as well as supporting and planning strategic projects. He joined Allianz X in 2020 as Investment Controller. In his position, he gained a thorough understanding of portfolio monitoring, financial modelling while optimizing further AZX’s reporting processes.

Michael holds both a M.Sc. and B.Sc. degree in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), spending one semester at the LUISS Guido Carli Business School in Rome.

Before joining Allianz X, Michael gained valuable professional experience in various Internet startups around Munich and Barcelona. He also worked with Porsche Consulting and Harman in Munich.

Michael Bradt

Alex joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) as an Associate in October 2019. He supports sourcing and the evaluation of investment opportunities as well as the strategic management of [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x)’s portfolio.
Alex joined from global asset manager [Fidelity International](/org/fidelity-international) where he was part of their strategy and planning team working on business strategy, acquisitions, and proprietary investments. Prior to this he worked in [Fidelity](/org/fidelity)’s UK institutional sales team, which he joined following the completion of his MSc at [Imperial College London](/org/imperial-college-london).

Alexander De Kegel

Patrik joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) as Director in December 2020. His main focus is on our strategic acquisitions and investments that fit [Allianz](/org/allianz)’s ecosystem.
Patrik has a decade of experience in advising companies on financial and strategic decisions. He joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) from PwC’s deals practice where he assisted clients with valuations, M&A transactions and due diligence as senior manager leading teams mainly on large international projects. Prior to that, he worked as an analyst at a renowned strategy consulting company where he started his career in 2010.

Patrik holds a master’s degree from the University of Economics in Prague where he focused on international trade and business valuation.

Patrik Strama

Nhi joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in March 2019. As a Manager in the Platforms and Acquisitions team, he is responsible for building fruitful relationships between portfolio companies and [Allianz](/org/allianz) entities as well as supporting the sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities. Prior to [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x), he has been with [Allianz](/org/allianz) Partners in Paris since 2014 covering especially Finance, Strategy and Digital transformation topics globally as a Senior Auditor and Project Management Officer to the Head of Internal Audit.
Nhi holds Double French-German Master degrees in Financial Management from the Université de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Universität Hohenheim (Stuttgart).

Nhi Huynh

Daniel joined [Allianz](/org/allianz) in 2015 and since then has worked in different Operating Entities such as AGCS and [Allianz](/org/allianz) Consulting (AZC). While at AGCS, Daniel was actively involved in the claims ideation events and in screening for potential AI companies in the areas of claims and underwriting. At AZC, he was involved in the Business Process Reengineering for [Allianz](/org/allianz) Italy, focusing on the implementation of innovative digital solutions, RPA, organizational streamlining and introduction of Lean Management System tools.
Daniel studied in different countries such as Brazil, USA, England, and Germany. He holds a BA in International Relation with an emphasis in Economics and a Master in Business Law (LL.M) mainly in the area of M&A and focuses on the impact of disruptive technologies in the insurance and finance sector.

Daniel Pita

Sümer is a Senior Manager in the Platforms and Acquisitions Team focusing on Wealth & FinTech. He began his career in Management Consulting in Germany and joined the Allianz Group in 2013 as Senior Analyst in Allianz Turkey´s CEO Office. While at Allianz Turkey, Sümer led various strategic projects and was responsible for the formation of the Innovation Department. Prior to joining [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x), he was in charge of Business Development, where his focus was on the creation of new business models and partnerships.

Sümer received a Master of Science in International Management (CEMS) from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. During his studies, he spent time in Singapore and Istanbul.

Sümer Uysal

Stefan joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in May 2018. As a Senior Investment Controller, he analyzes the development of certain portfolio companies and is responsible for the reporting of their development towards our stakeholders. Previously, he worked at Allianz SE in Group Accounting and Reporting, focused on investments. Beside that he graduated with M.Sc. in Finance & Accounting at FOM University in Munich.

Filipa Brenhas Sancho

Filipa joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in September 2020 as a Senior Associate in the Platforms and Acquisitions Team. She focuses on developing strategic partnerships between leading digital companies and [Allianz](/org/allianz).

Before [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x), Filipa worked at [Allianz](/org/allianz) Consulting and at [Deloitte](/org/deloitte). During her five-year consulting career, Filipa advised various financial institutions and developed capabilities in new business set-up, post-merger integration and business transformation, having worked on a diverse set of topics, from sales to data management.

Filipa holds a Master in International Management from ESADE Business School and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics.

Filipa Brenhas Sancho

Philip joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in August 2018. As a Manager in the Platforms and Acquisitions team he primarily focuses on the FinTech ecosystem but also covers other relevant sectors. Before joining [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x), Philip worked for PwC where he supported a variety of both buy-side and sell-side clients regarding financial analyses in connection with transactions.
Philip received an M.Sc. in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich in 2015.

Philip Wieland

Florian Schlindwein is currently an Associate at [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x). Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant in the Private Equity Practice at goetzpartners from July 2020 to July 2021. From April 2019 to June 2020, they were an Associate Consultant in the same practice, and from June 2018 to January 2019, they were a Working Student. From January 2018 to March 2018, they interned in the Mergers & Acquisitions department at EY. From November 2016 to November 2017, they worked as a Startup Consultant at UnicornPitch. And finally, from April 2016 to July 2016, they were a Student Consultant at Capgemini Invent, working on a IT Transformation project for a German media company.

Florian Schlindwein has a Master of Science in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from [Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München](/org/ludwig-maximilians-universitat-munchen), a Master of Science in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, and a Bachelor of Science in Economía from Universidad de Málaga.

Florian Schlindwein

Niklas joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) as an Associate in November 2019. In his role he supports the investment sourcing and evaluation process as well as the strategic relationship building between portfolio companies and [Allianz](/org/allianz) entities. Niklas joined from Boston Consulting Group where he focused on various topics in the financial services industry.

Niklas holds a Master in Finance from ESADE Business School, and a Bachelor in Business Administration from WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management, during which he spent one semester in Uruguay.

Niklas Mundorf

Carsten is heading the Platforms and Acquisitions team and is a member of the [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) leadership team.

Having joined the Allianz Group in 2016, Carsten has been instrumental to the strategic and organizational development of [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) to the Group’s digital investment unit. He serves as Board Member/Observer for various [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) companies.

Previously, Carsten was an Engagement Manager with the European boutique consultancy The Advisory House. During his six-year consulting career, Carsten led various projects for international utilities, technology giants and industrial companies.

Carsten holds a Diplom-Kaufmann from TU Munich with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Finance, and a Minor in Mechanical Engineering. During/after his studies, he spent time in Malaysia and South America.



Carsten Middendorf

Jessica is responsible for all accounting and procurement at [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x). Prior to joining [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in 2016, she worked as an accountant in the hospitality industry. She is a certified Office Manager with a specialization in accounting.

Jessica was born and raised in Peru and has been living in Munich since 1995.

Jessica Matos

Oliver Schwall is an Investment Controller at [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x). Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Business-Analyst and Portfolio Controller at AssetMetrix GmbH. 

As a Senior Business-Analyst, Oliver was responsible for the implementation of new reporting functionality and the identification and analysis of optimization potentials in the company's internal business intelligence software. Oliver was also responsible for the operational implementation of regulatory reporting in cooperation with an external service provider. Additionally, they supported business teams with problems within the process chain and the onboarding of complex migrations as well as the introduction of cross-client standards. 

As Portfolio Controller, Oliver was responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual reports, including customer-specific reports, as well as for the set-up and presentation of portal content for Unigestion SA's private equity portfolio totaling EUR 7 billion. Oliver also promoted the digitalization of reporting by constantly identifying development potentials in the company's internal business intelligence software and staging database calculations.

Oliver Schwall has a Master of Science in Technologie- und Managementorientierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre (TUM-BWL) from the Technische Universität München, as well as a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same school. Oliver also has certification from [The BRIEF Lab](/org/the-brief-lab) in Intro to BRIEF (BRIEF 101).

They work with Jessica Matos - Finance Administrator, Michael Bradt - Investment Controller, and Markus Flierl - Finance Director. Oliver Schwall reports to Catherine Dietrich, CFO.

Oliver Schwall

Robroy joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in 2019 and is the current Information, Protection & Resilience Officer, as well as a manager for various financial and operational topics. Robroy reports to the CFO.

Since 2015, Robroy has worked with numerous [Allianz](/org/allianz) entities, including [Allianz](/org/allianz) Technology, [Allianz](/org/allianz) Partners, [Allianz](/org/allianz) Consulting, the Global Digital Factory, and now [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x). At [Allianz](/org/allianz) Technology, Robroy worked as an IT Project Portfolio Manager, supporting the global IT transformation of [Allianz](/org/allianz) Partners. At [Allianz](/org/allianz) Consulting, Robroy supported the build-up of [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x)’s Finance Function and the development of the Digital Asset Library at the GDF.

Robroy holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, an advanced diploma in Business Administration, as well as various financial certifications.

Robroy Robinz

Markus joined the Allianz X Finance Team as Finance Director in April 2021. After starting at Allianz Germany in 2002, he changed to Allianz Group Accounting and Reporting from 2004 to 2008, focused on the German P&C and Private Equity business. After that, he held various manager positions in Allianz divisions before joining Allianz X. Markus has extensive practical experience in the onboarding of new acquisitions and establishing processes such as investment accounting, controlling, and investor reporting. He holds an MBA (Diplom Wirtschaftswissenschaften) from the University of Regensburg.

Markus Flierl

Tamara joined Allianz X in July 2021. She is responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the leadership team.

Prior to joining Allianz X, Tamara was an Executive Assistant (EA) to Partners at both KPMG and McKinsey. Before that, as an EA to the Managing Directors of DAZN, she was able to live her passion for sports, in particular the NFL. Tamara also gained valuable experience in several other positions, including at a software company in the UK.

Tamara apprenticed as a Management Assistant in Office Communication.

Tamara Teske

Catherine is the CFO at [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x). She began her career at [Allianz](/org/allianz) in 2004 when she joined [Allianz](/org/allianz) Capital Partners to help build up and eventually lead the Investment Controlling function. Prior to that, she worked in Private Equity as an Investment Manager for a small family office.

She came to work in Munich in 2001 for Robertson Stephens International, a San Francisco based, technology focused investment bank. Catherine began her career in financial services 18 years ago in London in the German Corporate Finance team for HSBC Investment Bank after having received a First Class Honours Degree in International Business Management and German from the [University of Bath](/org/university-of-bath).

Catherine Dietrich

Raffaele joined Allianz X in April 2021 as an Analyst in the Platforms & Acquisitions team, having already been part of the team as an intern. He mainly focuses on strategic investments in the insurtech, fintech, and wealth spaces.

Raffaele began his career in the pre-seed start-up ecosystem, leading a business development concept in Italy and the UK. He then gained experience from several short engagements in consulting, cross-border M&A, and investment banking, working on projects in Spain, France, China, and Italy.

Raffaele received a Master of Science in Finance from Bocconi University with a thesis on “Venture Capital response to Covid-19: emerging technologies and business models”.

Raffaele Lucantonio


Luna joined Allianz X in March 2022 as a Compliance Officer after spending a year with the team as a working student. She specializes in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) topics, as well as looking after other compliance and governance topics, too. 

Prior to joining Allianz X, Luna established her career as a KYC Officer at commercial and investment banks such as MUFG and J.P. Morgan Chase, including a managerial position at Barclays’ KYC operations team in NYC/NJ, USA.

Luna holds a B.Sc degree in Finance from Rutgers University and is is currently completing her Executive MBA at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Luna’s studies have taken her to the USA, Germany, and Singapore.

Luna Wang

Saharat joined Allianz X in September 2022 as an Analyst within the Investment Team, having already been part of the team as an intern. He focuses on evaluating investment opportunities in the insurtech and fintech spaces. Prior to joining Allianz X, Saharat gained experience at various investment funds, specializing in technology and real estate investments.

Saharat holds a Masters in Management from the ESCP Business School. As part of his studies, he spent semesters in Paris, London, Madrid, and Berlin.

Saharat Hartmann

Gregor joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in March 2021, taking on responsibility for its public relations and communications.

The Australian-turned-Bavarian received a business degree from the University of Queensland before working in financial services in Sydney, moving to Munich, and learning the local language of the city of laptops and lederhosen. Gregor then freelanced as a consultant until an irresistible job opportunity took him to [Allianz SE](/org/allianz), the Allianz Group’s headquarters. There, Gregor proceeded to work in various communications and media relations roles before being inexorably drawn to the bleeding edge of fintech and insurtech that is the home turf of [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x). It’s here he’s delighted to indulge his twin passions for technology and communications.

Gregor Wills

Dr. Nazim Cetin is the CEO of [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x). Nazim has more than a decade of leadership experience in investing, business development, and entrepreneurship. Nazim joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) most recently from media conglomerate [Bertelsmann](/org/bertelsmann), where he was a Vice President of Corporate Development & New Businesses. Prior to that, Nazim founded the first German magazine focusing on philosophy and economics, Agora 42; internationalized the commercial finance division of Maple Bank as its Vice President Commercial Finance; and was an advisor to many international VC funds and start-ups. Nazim began his career in investment banking at [LBBW](/org/landesbank-baden-wurttemberg). He is a member of the supervisory board of [CLARK](/org/clark), [Control€xpert](/org/controlexpert), [Pie Insurance](/org/pie-insurance), and [WeLab Holdings](/org/welab).

Nazim received his Diplom in Quantitative Economics from Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, an M.Sc in Economics and Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Witten-Herdecke University.

Nazim Cetin

Michael joined Allianz X as an Analyst in January 2022 after having already been part of the team as an intern and working student during his studies. In his role, he focuses on investments in the insurtech and emerging markets space, as well as strategic relationship building between portfolio companies and Allianz entities.

Michael holds M.Sc and B.Sc degrees in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He concluded his master’s with a thesis on “ESG and Impact Assessment in Venture Capital Decision-Making Processes for African Investments”. During his studies, Michael gained work experience at SevenVentures, Fraunhofer Venture, Ernst & Young, and Knorr-Bremse, as well as spending a semester abroad in Brazil.

Michael Buchinger

Johann joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in September 2020 as a Senior Associate within the Investment Team. Prior to joining [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x), Johann gained experience working for an Australasian-based early stage venture capital firm, a R&D growth and assistance fund, and more recently a multinational payment company based in Europe.

Johann holds an MBA, B.A and B.Sc, having studied at [Copenhagen Business School](/org/copenhagen-business-school), Otago University, and Victoria University Wellington, respectively.

Johann Kraberger

Servet joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in December 2020 as Information Security Officer. He started his career in 2005 at [KPMG](/org/kpmg) Turkey and later worked in the Netherlands for [KPMG](/org/kpmg) and a regional multinational banking group. He has extensive experience leading engagements to provide cyber security, IT audit and advisory services.

As part of his current role, he keeps track of security requirements for [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) as well as the related entities. Servet holds a B.Sc in Management Information Systems from Bogazici University in Istanbul, CISA and ISO27001 LA certifications.

Servet Gözel

Kevin started at [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) as an Associate and now supports our CEO directly as Executive Assistant. Kevin started at [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in summer 2017 after graduating with a B.Sc. from WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management. In 2019 he left [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) to complete a Master of Science in Project and Enterprise Management with First Class Honours and returned back to [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) afterwards. During his studies, he interned at Siemens AG in Malaysia and Unicredit Bank in Munich. He furthermore helped to build up a London-based property tech strom Seed to Series A as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence.
Kevin co-founded an investment company as well as a food & beverage start-up, is passionate about entrepreneurship, and is excited to work with the next big game changer.

Kevin Harder

Christiane Von Truchseß is a Junior Communicator at [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x). Christiane previously worked as a working student Content Marketing, Multichannel at [Allianz](/org/allianz) from March 2021 to December 2021. Prior to that, they were a working student in Marketing and Communications at OPASCA GmbH from November 2019 to March 2021. Christiane also interned at [BMW Group](/org/bmw-group) in April 2019 to September 2019 and at SV Sandhausen 1916 e.V. from July 2018 to September 2018. Her first internship was at Intercity Hotels in May 2015 to July 2015 where they interned in HR.

Christiane Von Truchseß has a Master of Science in Business Education from Universität Mannheim and a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from the same school. Christiane also has a degree in finance from [EDHEC Business School](/org/edhec-business-school).

Christiane Von Truchseß

Yasmine joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) at the beginning of 2019. She is responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the leadership team.

Prior to joining [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x), Yasmine worked as an Executive PA and Leadership Coordinator in global medical devices and pharmaceutical companies. Yasmine graduated from the University of Verona with a degree in Business and Languages. She moved to Munich in 2012.

Yasmine Delfauro

Gregor Freilinger is an analyst at [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x). Gregor was previously a venture capital intern at [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) from August 2021 to October 2021. Prior to that, they were an intern at [KPMG](/org/kpmg) from March 2018 to May 2018. Gregor also worked as a consultant at metafinanz Informationssysteme GmbH from March 2021 to July 2021. From June 2018 to February 2021, they were a working student at the same company. Gregor was also a working student at metafinanz Informationssysteme GmbH from February 2017 to February 2018. Prior to that, they were an intern at EY from March 2016 to May 2016.

Gregor Freilinger has a Master of Science in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, a Master of Science in Semester abroad in Economics from Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München. Gregor also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Universität Passau. In addition, they have certification from Bloomberg LP in Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) and certification from Deutsche Börse in Certified Derivatives Trader.

Gregor Freilinger

Beatrice is Legal Counsel & Data Privacy Officer and joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in 2020. She is responsible for all privacy-related issues as well as for Corporate Law and general contractual matters. Beatrice started her professional career in 2017 with Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions at a leading German law firm in Munich. Prior to joining [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x), she focused on Data Privacy, Information Technology and Commercial working for a leading international law firm.

Beatrice Mischke

Annika joined the legal department of Allianz X in January 2022. She advises on all legal affairs, with a strong focus on investment and M&A transactions.

Prior to joining Allianz X, Annika worked as a M&A and Venture Capital lawyer with a top-tier German law firm. Annika studied philosophy and law in Munich and Berlin. She also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Münster.

Annika Junginger

Laura oversees all HR related topics at [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x). She joined [Allianz](/org/allianz) at the beginning of 2016, working for the Global [Allianz](/org/allianz) HR Transformation Program in various functions.
She received her Diploma in Law from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, is a commercial mediator (Munich Center for Dispute Resolution) and holds a Masters in Business & Organizational Psychology from Steinbeis University in Berlin.

Laura Roedern

Konrad joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) as a Senior Associate in January 2021. He supports the sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities, as well as the facilitation of strategic partnerships between [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) portfolio companies and [Allianz](/org/allianz) businesses. Konrad joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) after completing a Schwarzman Scholarship in Beijing. Prior to the that, he worked at [Fidelity International](/org/fidelity-international) in London as a member of the internal consulting team leading strategy, M&A, and corporate development projects.

Konrad holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the [University of Cambridge](/org/university-of-cambridge), an MSc in Global Affairs from Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University, and a BSc in Business Management from King’s College London. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Konrad Wolkowski

Jonathan joined Allianz SE as legal counsel in October 2018 and is responsible for all corporate and investment-related legal topics of [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x).  Prior to joining Allianz, Jonathan worked with several top-tier law firms, most recently as legal counsel with a German law firm specialized in venture capital transactions. During his legal clerkship, Jonathan also worked with the German Foreign Office in Berlin and Phnom Penh.

He received a doctoral degree (Dr. iur.) from the [University of Mannheim](/org/university-of-mannheim) and an LL.M. from the [University of Cambridge](/org/university-of-cambridge).

Jonathan Wennekers

Irene joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in September 2020 as the company’s Compliance and Risk Officer. She started her career at [Allianz](/org/allianz) in 2004 with the SOX implementation, followed by the roll-out of the Group Internal Anti-Fraud Program and Compliance Quality Assurance. Prior to that she worked at [Deutsche Bank](/org/deutsche-bank) and PricewaterhouseCoopers with a focus on Investment Banking- and Financial Statement Audit.

She holds a Master of International Business from the University of Giessen, Postgraduate Diploma in General Management from the ESMT in Berlin and is a certified SCRUM Master.

Irene Gürtler

Johannes joined [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x) in February 2019 and focuses as a Senior Associate in the Platforms and Acquisitions team on the InsurTech and lead generation sectors. Before joining [Allianz X](/org/allianz-x), Johannes worked for EY, where he was involved in a variety of buy-side and sell-side transactions in the financial services sector.

Previously, Johannes gained experience at [UniCredit](/org/unicredit), Allianz Capital Partners and Golding Capital Partners in the area of capital markets and private equity. Johannes received his M.Sc. in Business Administration from the [University of Mannheim](/org/university-of-mannheim) in 2016. During his studies, he spent time in England and South Korea.
