Michael Okonji

Michael Okonji is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in designing and delivering data solutions across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Allianz since February 2023, Michael collaborates with business partners to align data integration with strategic objectives. Previously, at Gym+Coffee, Michael led data modeling and the development of a Google Cloud platform, and at Deutsche Bank, Michael was instrumental in the Anti-Financial Crime programme, focusing on Spark data pipelines. With earlier roles at Lavastorm Analytics, Accenture, and AIB, Michael has a solid foundation in analytics application development, client consulting, financial risk analysis, and data infrastructure. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Technological University Dublin and a degree in Business Management from Dublin City University.
