Ruth Bishop

Ruth Bishop currently serves as the Global Head of Strategic Leadership Development at Allianz, having held various leadership roles since January 2018, including Global Head of Learning Design & Technology and Regional Head of Allianz University for Northern Europe & MEA. In this capacity, Ruth Bishop is responsible for the development and delivery of global learning solutions, overseeing regional learning programs and operations, and enhancing organizational performance across Allianz Group. Prior to Allianz, Ruth Bishop held positions at Allianz Partners from April 2007 to December 2017, including Head of Global Learning & Development and Senior HR Business Partner. Earlier career experience includes roles as an HR Business Partner at Wyeth Bio-Tech and American Power Conversion, as well as an HR Specialist at Zomax. Ruth Bishop holds degrees from the University of Limerick and Dublin Business School.
