Stephen Lavedas

Stephen Lavedas has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering, specializing in GIS tools and remote sensing. Stephen began their career in 2001 as a Multi-functional system analyst at Lockheed Martin, where they worked until 2005. From 2005 to 2006, Stephen Lavedas served as a Software Developer at Intelligent Decision Systems, Inc. (IDSI). Stephen then joined NIITEK, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from 2006 to 2011. Following this, they worked at Vista Research, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer for five years. In 2016, Stephen Lavedas joined Esri, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer, focusing on developing new functionality for GIS tools, particularly in the area of Remote Sensing. Currently, they are employed at Allied Associates International as a Senior Software Engineer from 2017 onwards.

Stephen Lavedas attended the University of Virginia from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
