Abid Anwar

A seasoned professional with over 29 years experience in Commercial and Corporate Banking with diversified portfolio of Deposits, SME/Corporate Finance and Trade. He started his career in 1992 and served Bank of Punjab, MCB and Faysal Bank before joining Allied Bank in 2007 as Regional Head Business. Mr. Abid was elevated as Group Head Commercial & Retail Banking in the year 2012 and served in different Groups (South 2, North 2 and North 1) comprising of varied area market and business segments from Gilgit – Baltistan, Azad Kashmir to Multan – Bahawalpur. He has an MBA degree with major in Finance. He has also attended International and domestic professional trainings/certifications including Leadership Development Program at National University of Singapore. Mr. Abid served as Chief Special Assets Management Group from 2018 to 2021 and is now serving the Bank as Chief Commercial and Retail Banking Group from January 2022.
