Salvador Barahona

Salvador Barahona has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Salvador currently holds the position of SQA Engineer Senior I at Allied Global Technology Services, where they are responsible for creating testing plans, automating software programs, and evaluating product performance. Salvador also identifies and analyzes product issues and advises on design improvements.

Prior to this role, Salvador worked at Asesores en Informatica as a QA Analyst, where they implemented and executed automated tests using Java integrated with Selenium. Their efforts significantly reduced user complaints and the number of bugs and problems generated by the R&D area. Salvador also played a key role in developing the QA Analyst position and defining its objectives, requirements, functions, relationships, and technical competencies. Salvador also served as a Project Leader at the same company from 2012 to 2016.

Before joining Asesores en Informatica, Salvador worked as a Project Coordinator at AviancaTACA Limited from 2011 to 2012 and at Aeroman from 2006 to 2011.

Salvador Barahona obtained a Licenciatura degree in Computer Science from Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas, where they studied from 1999 to 2005. Salvador also has additional certifications, including "Webservices API Testing with Postman" from Udemy obtained in October 2022, "Scrum Fundamentals for Scrum Master and Agile Projects" from Udemy obtained in September 2022, "Fundamentals Online Workshop" from Management 3.0 obtained in October 2020, and "Gestión de Calidad y Pruebas al Software bajo el estandar ISTQB" from Blanco Silva Consultoría Informática - BSCI - obtained in October 2019.
