Mahmoud Salem's work experience includes being a Public Health Law Research Intern at Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Microbial Toxicology Research Assistant at Allied Microbiota starting in 2023. In 2022, Mahmoud was an Epidemiology Research Assistant at Stony Brook University and a Cancer Pathology Research Assistant at Stony Brook Medicine. In addition, they served as a Testicular Cancer Research Fellow at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they conducted a project on PFOS exposure to Testicular Germline Cell Tumors. Mahmoud Salem attended Stony Brook University from 2021 to 2024, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology. In July 2022, they obtained a certification in Toxicology Mentoring Skills and Development Tutoring from the University of California, Davis.
