Phil W. has a diverse background in various industries. Phil started their career as a Small Business Advisor in the Peace Corps, where they co-founded Junior Achievement of Honduras and gained expertise in the Latin culture. Phil then joined MeadWestvaco (MWV), where they held multiple roles, including Director of International and International Strategy Analyst. In these positions, Phil led international sales and marketing activities, managed international strategic planning, and identified and performed due diligence on acquisition targets. Phil later joined ES Robbins Corporation as Vice President & General Manager of ES Robbins International Division, responsible for worldwide businesses and managing relationships with major retailers. Currently, Phil is the Corporate Vice President at Allied Mineral Products, where they are responsible for corporate development and strategy, including acquisitions and new market entries, and leading the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. Overall, Phil has extensive experience in strategic planning, international business, and leadership roles.
Phil W. has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in General Management from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Phil earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Wake Forest University with a major in Economics and a minor in Art History, along with a Certificate in Italian Studies. Phil W. has also worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Dayton, teaching a course titled "Doing Business in Latin America," and at Wright State University, teaching a course titled "Ethical and Legal Issues in Global Business."
