As the Founder and CEO of Allied Pain & Spine Institute since December 2011, and the Founder and Managing Partner of Trinity Surgery Center since April 2016, James demonstrates strong leadership and innovation. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Karuna Labs and a consultant for Boston Scientific since July 2017, James also has experience as a Clinical Instructor at Stanford Health Care from 2014 to 2018. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine, an Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management.
