Gayla Coffelt

Gayla Coffelt has extensive experience in benefits management and compliance, currently serving in a Benefits Compliance role at the Allied Pilots Association since August 2015. Prior to this, Gayla held the position of Vice President of Health and Welfare Benefits at Comerica Bank, where oversight of life, health, and welfare plans for 9,000 employees was a primary responsibility. Gayla's earlier experience includes a role as Benefit Plan Manager at American Airlines, managing various insurance and health plan vendors as well as compliance with regulatory requirements. Academic credentials include a BA in Political Science from Baylor University and CEBS certification from the University of Pennsylvania.
