Jim Masso

Jim Masso is the CEO at Allied Power Group. Prior to this, they were the President and VP Global Service at Dematic from May 2019 to November 2019. Before that, they were the Executive Engineering & Gas Turbine Product Leader at GE Power from November 2015 to May 2019.

At GE Power, Jim Masso was responsible for leading the company’s power gas turbine development, research, and fleet management. This included managing a global team of 300+ engineers and product leaders. Jim was also responsible for building out new GE Power Services capabilities and growing GE’s service installed base.

Some of Jim Masso’s key responsibilities included developing digital and optimization capabilities, creating advanced controls and software technologies to enhance product value, and implementing new product development strategies and engine characterization across gas turbine fleets. In addition, they also partnered with external investors to establish methods of bring products to market faster, with greater capabilities.

Before their time at GE Power, Jim Masso worked in a variety of other engineering roles. Jim has a wealth of experience in the engineering field and has been instrumental in the development and growth of several different companies.

Jim Masso has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.
