John Smachetti

John Smachetti, CPCU, currently serves as the AVP of Program Management at Allied World, having joined the company in August 2023. Prior to this position, John worked at Allianz Commercial as a Property Underwriting Specialist from March 2022 to August 2023, and at Travelers as an Account Executive from February 2017 to February 2022. John began his career at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where roles included Senior Underwriter and Commercial Lines Underwriter from June 2012 to February 2017. Earlier experience includes internships at UTC Aerospace Systems and All-Phase Electric in 2011. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut, obtained in 2012.
