Thomas Helboe has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Thomas currently serves as the VP Project and Alliance Management at Alligator Bioscience AB, where they are responsible for driving projects forward and managing alliances. Prior to this, they worked at Ascendis Pharma A/S as the Senior Global Program Director and Project Director, leading the development of TranCon PTH for the treatment of Hypoparathyroidism. Thomas has also held various roles at LEO Pharma, including Global Program Senior Director, Senior Project Director in Bio Dermatology, Executive Director of the Calcipotriol Asset, and Project Director. At Nycomed, they worked as a Project Leader, and at H. Lundbeck, they served as the Head of Section. Thomas began their career as a Forensic Chemist at the University of Copenhagen. Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated expertise in project management, global program development, and alliance management in the pharmaceutical industry.
Thomas Helboe obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Pharmacy from Danmarks Farmaceutiske Universitet, where they studied from 1990 to 1995. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Analytical Chemistry at the same university, completing their degree in 1999. In 1997, they briefly attended Stanford University to further their studies in Analytical Chemistry. Additionally, in 2014 and 2015, Helboe attended Columbia Business School, though no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
