Mike Barlow is an experienced exploration manager with a strong background in geophysics and mining. Currently serving as Exploration Manager at Alligator Energy since May 2023, Barlow previously held the position of Director of Geophysics Acquisition & Processing at Geoscience Australia from May 2019 to October 2023. At BHP, Barlow was the Head of Country in Peru, where leadership included building a team for greenfields exploration and managing significant budgets. Barlow also held various senior roles at BHP, focusing on exploration programs in both the U.S.A. and Australia. Earlier experience includes work as a Senior Geophysicist at Rio Tinto, leading exploration for various metals in Brazil, and a contract position at Geoscience Australia, where Barlow contributed to predictive mineral discovery. Barlow holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from the University of Sydney.
