Khalid Shoaib

Khalid Shoaib has extensive experience in the geophysics sector, currently serving as Manager Exploration at ORIENT PETROLEUM INC. since June 2017. Previously, Khalid held the position of Chief Geophysicist/Manager Geosciences at KUFPEC Pakistan (Kirthar Holdings) B.V. from March 2013 to June 2017, and served as Deputy General Manager at Gulf Petroleum Exploration Limited Pakistan from January 2011 to March 2013. Other notable roles include Senior Staff Geophysicist at Frontier Holdings Limited, Geophysical Specialist at Pakistan Oilfields Limited, Senior Geophysicist at Zaver Petroleum Corporation Limited, and positions with British Petroleum Pakistan and British Borneo Exploration & Production Limited. Khalid began a career in geophysics at OGDCL as a Trainee Geophysicist. Academic credentials include an MSc in Geophysics from Quaid-e-Azam University and a B.Sc. in Physics with Pure and Applied Maths from Government College Attock.
