Anna Bernard

Anna Bernard, MPH, is a seasoned professional in health performance improvement, currently serving as a Senior Performance Improvement Advisor at Allina Hospitals & Clinics since 2012. In this role, Anna leads strategic quality improvement initiatives across a network of 14 hospitals, focusing on standardizing care and reducing variation in Clinical Service Lines through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Previously, Anna held the position of Senior Regulatory Quality Improvement Analyst at Medica, where responsibilities included managing state and federally mandated quality improvement projects for Medicaid and Medicare members. Anna's early career includes significant contributions as a Research Assistant at the University of Iowa, supporting community-based participatory research on health issues, and as an intern at the Wyoming Department of Health, where research findings were shared statewide. Anna earned a Master of Public Health with a focus on Community and Behavioral Health and Epidemiology from the University of Northern Colorado and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wartburg College.
