Amanda Peterson

Amanda Peterson, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Procurement at Allison Transmission, overseeing a team of eight commodity managers responsible for $500M in direct spend. With extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, Amanda has successfully managed multi-million dollar budgets, negotiated supplier contracts, and executed cost-saving strategies, including annual savings of over $22M and $7M in previous roles. Amanda's career includes positions at Navistar Inc, where significant cost reductions and strategic sourcing initiatives were achieved, as well as earlier roles in marketing and customer service. Amanda holds an MBA in Leadership from Aurora University and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Business Administration from Grace College & Seminary.
