Sjoerd Vos

Sjoerd Vos is an accomplished marketing and communications leader with extensive experience in the powertrain, electrification, and electrical industries. Since June 2019, Sjoerd has served as Managing Director of Global Branding & Communications at Allison Transmission, where responsibilities include overseeing strategic marketing and product management across the EMEA region. Previous roles include Global Head of Marketing & Communications at ABB, where Sjoerd led branding and communications for a $2B business unit, and earlier positions at Thomas & Betts. Sjoerd's career also includes significant contributions to foreign investment attraction and support for U.S. companies entering European markets while working for the Maryland Department of Commerce. Sjoerd holds an MBA from Webster Leiden Campus and a BA in Commercial Economics from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
