Clerical Quality Assurance Coordinator at AllMed Healthcare Management

Carla Duncan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carla began their career as an administrative support consultant in their own business, Duncan Consulting, providing services such as file and home office organization, word processing, and data entry. Carla also offered software training and consultation on efficient use of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications. Carla successfully completed projects such as formatting a complex document for Washington County and providing software conversion training for a large law firm.

Carla then worked as a Loan Document Specialist at Wells Fargo on a temporary assignment, where they multitasked using various software and databases to compare, evaluate, and enter data from source documents. Carla analyzed and interpreted customer information provided by loan specialists.

Carla later joined Stoel Rives LLP as an Information Processing Technician, Work Coordinator, and Administrative Support. In this role, they provided administrative support as shift lead for the Information Processing Department, coordinating work flow and assigning tasks to technicians. Carla also offered administrative and telephone customer service support for attorneys and staff working outside of regular hours. Carla produced legal documents using Microsoft software, MacPac templates, and the WorkSite document management system.

Carla's experience in the healthcare industry includes working at PharMerica as a Lead Medical Records Associate and Medical Records Associate. Carla acted as a supervisor on swing shifts and weekends and assisted in training and development of associates. Their responsibilities involved ensuring timely and accurate entry of medical data into the AS400 computer system for processing and delivering edited documentation for client facilities.

Carla then joined Pacific Health & Rehabilitation as a Medical Records Coordinator, where they were responsible for processing, organizing, and maintaining electronic and hard copy medical records for all residents. Carla created, scheduled, and transmitted Medicare and Medicaid MDS assessments for residents and ensured compliance with medical record requests and HIPAA regulations.

Carla's most recent position is with KAMIND IT Inc. as a Business Manager. Their role involves managing business operations and overseeing various aspects of the organization's administration.

Currently, Carla is working as a Medical Review Intake Coordinator at AllMed Healthcare Management.

Carla Duncan has earned an Associates of General Studies degree in Business from Rogue Community College. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in NWHPEC Lean 101 Series from NWHPEC in March 2021 and holds a National Career Readiness Certificate - Silver obtained in November 2011.
