Eric McCracken is a seasoned professional in the coatings industry with extensive experience in product development and technical management. Currently serving as the Technical Manager LRA for Solventborne Resins at allnex since March 2017, Eric oversees product development to address market demands for water-borne and solvent-borne coatings. Prior to this, Eric held multiple positions within allnex and Nuplex, focusing on formulating and scaling up products for industrial OEM and VR applications. With a robust background starting from a Development Chemist at Akzo Nobel Coatings in 1990 to a Group Leader in Akzo Nobel Resins, Eric has developed expertise in various resin types, including alkyds, acrylics, polyesters, and epoxy esters. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Louisville.
