Elaine Jang

Elaine Jang has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in various industries. Elaine currently works as the Director of Finance at Allnorth Consultants Limited. Prior to this, they served as a Consultant in Financial Planning & Analysis at QuadReal Property Group.

From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Financial Consultant at BC Hydro & TELUS, where they played a key role in managing the ownership, maintenance, and strategic use of distribution poles jointly owned by the two organizations.

From 2011 to 2018, they served as the Director and Co-Founder of PDO Solutions Ltd, a project consulting firm. Elaine was involved in developing business strategy, client development plans, and driving profitability. Additionally, they also worked as a Project Accountant and Project Manager, conducting independent reviews and managing disputes for various projects.

Elaine has also gained experience in the healthcare industry as the Financial Simulation and Modeling Leader for the Clinical & Systems Transformation Project at Vancouver Coastal Health. Furthermore, they have a background in project accounting and management, having worked as a Project Accounting Manager at Hatch, a global engineering and construction management consulting firm.

Earlier in their career, Elaine worked as an Accounting Manager at Esprit, a global fashion retailer, and as an Assistant Controller at Rescan Engineering Ltd, a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. Elaine began their career as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager at Nuport Leathers, where they oversaw various financial and administrative tasks.

Elaine Jang holds an MBA degree and certifications in Prosci® and PRINCE2 Agile, demonstrating their expertise in change management and agile project management.

Elaine Jang holds an Executive MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. Elaine completed this program from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1992, where they studied Financial Management and Investment Management. In addition, Elaine Jang has obtained certifications such as PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner, PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner CPD, and Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner.
