Jarrod Toh

Jarrod Toh has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Jarrod is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Allocate Space since July 2022. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and VP, Product Engineering at Allocate Space from May 2020 to June 2022.

Before joining Allocate Space, Jarrod worked at Massive Infinity as a Solutions Architect from January 2019 to June 2022.

From 2016 to 2018, Jarrod worked at Voyager Innovations, Inc. where they held two roles. Jarrod first served as a Software Team Lead (Retail Experience) from April 2018 to October 2018, leading the digital transformation of the retail experience for a top local retail developer. Jarrod then took on the role of Project Manager from June 2016 to October 2018, establishing project management processes, providing consultations, and producing project estimates and costs.

Prior to their time at Voyager Innovations, Jarrod was a Senior Platform Engineer at Takatack Technologies Pte Ltd from September 2015 to March 2018. Jarrod led a team of engineers to focus on omni-channel capabilities and integrated Lazada to TackThis.

Jarrod's career began at PayWhere, where they started as a full-time Platform Engineer in December 2013. Jarrod played a key role in the development of Takatack.com, an online marketplace, and the revamping of TackThis into an API-driven multi-client system.

Before their full-time role at PayWhere, Jarrod interned at the same company from May 2013 to July 2013.

Earlier in their career, Jarrod worked as a Web Developer at IP Technology Solutions Pte Ltd from June 2011 to August 2012, and as a Software Engineer (Intern) at CHASS Computer Consultants Pte Ltd from April 2007 to August 2007.

Jarrod Toh obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in IT (Mobile Business Solutions) from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, attending from 2005 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Lean Kanban Foundations (KMP1) from Lean Kanban Inc. in April 2018. Jarrod also completed various online certifications in the field of Deep Learning and Machine Learning, such as the Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning, all from Coursera. The most recent certification they obtained was the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2020.
