Andrew Alger

Andrew Alger is a seasoned design professional currently serving as Lead Product Designer at Allocate since February 2024. Previously held the position of Director of Design at Tonic Inc., where significant contributions included scaling the in-house design team and establishing a strong design culture. As Associate Creative Director at IHS Markit, Andrew shaped the creative culture of a 45-person team and contributed to business development efforts. Prior experience includes roles at Markit, where Andrew advanced from Designer to Associate Creative Director, leading strategic design initiatives and launching a company-wide hack-a-thon. Early career involvement included a design internship at Wall Street On Demand, where innovative prototypes were developed. Andrew holds multiple degrees in Design and Graphic Design from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design and has experience as a Wildland Firefighter Engine Boss with the Montana DNRC.
