Vice President Clinical Development at Allogene Therapeutics

John LeGall has a extensive work experience in various roles related to clinical development and oncology. John'smost recent position was as Vice President of Clinical Development at Allogene Therapeutics, where they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Instil Bio from December 2022 to April 2023, where they also worked as a Senior Director of Oncology from July 2020 to January 2023. From 2018 to 2020, John worked as a Medical Director of Clinical Development at Kite Pharma. Before that, they were a Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital from 2015 to 2018, where they led teams in caring for pediatric oncology patients and conducted consent for clinical trials. John also worked as a Postdoctoral Clinical Fellow in Immunotherapy at the National Cancer Institute from 2015 to 2018, managing patients in clinical trials and conducting translational research. Prior to that, John completed their Pediatric Residency Program at UCLA Department of Pediatrics from 2012 to 2015, and worked in clinical research on pediatric blood and marrow transplantation at MS Children's Hospital of New York from 2010 to 2012.

John LeGall completed their education in a chronological manner. John started their academic journey at Phillips Exeter Academy from 1998 to 2002 but did not receive a degree or specialize in any field of study during this period. John then attended Johns Hopkins from 2002 to 2007, where they pursued a combined Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Continuing their studies, John attended Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons from 2007 to 2012 and earned a Medical Doctor (MD) degree with a focus on Healthcare Management. During this same period, from 2011 to 2012, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Healthcare Management at Columbia Business School.

Furthermore, John LeGall obtained various certifications in their field. John became a Board Certified Pediatrician in 2015 and achieved the status of being Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in 2019, both conferred by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). John also obtained a Maryland Medical License, which is currently inactive, granted by the Maryland Board of Physicians in 2015. Additionally, John holds a California Medical License issued by the Medical Board Of California, obtained in 2014.
