Dr. Meir Shaked

Dr. Meir Shaked has extensive work experience in data science and algorithm development. Dr. Meir currently serves as the Director of Data Science at Allot. Prior to that, they worked at Verint as the Data Science Lead, where they designed and implemented machine learning-based cybersecurity products. Dr. Meir also has experience as a Senior Data Scientist Researcher at Intel Corporation, where they focused on behavior metrics algorithms for wearable devices. Additionally, Dr. Shaked worked as a Senior Algorithm Researcher at Orsan Medical Technologies Ltd., where they developed large-scale machine learning algorithms for noninvasive neuro monitoring systems. Dr. Meir also served as the Algorithms Team Leader at Applied Materials, leading a team in computer vision and defect detection. Earlier in their career, they worked as a lecturer at Tel Aviv University and served as a consultant in image processing and computer vision for the Israel Ministry of Defense. Dr. Meir also worked as a Satellite Algorithms Developer at IAI MABAT.

Dr. Meir Shaked has a strong educational background in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dr. Meir began their educational journey at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree between 1987 and 1991. Dr. Meir then pursued further education at Tel Aviv University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1995 to 1999. Dr. Shaked's passion for learning continued, leading him to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University between 2004 and 2009. During this time, they also demonstrated a multidisciplinary interest by studying Neuroscience at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2000 to 2002.
