Mohammad Zafari

Mohammad Zafari is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in immunology and biochemistry. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Alloy Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2022, Zafari previously held positions at Verseau Therapeutics as a Scientist, Jounce Therapeutics as an Associate Scientist, and Novartis as a Scientist. Early career roles include working at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and Altus Pharmaceuticals, as well as Biogen, where Zafari was a Senior Associate Scientist. The initial role was with Bionetics, Inc. as a Research Associate, focusing on producing polyclonal antibodies and developing immunoassays for HIV proteins. Zafari holds a Master of Arts in Biology from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Buffalo State University.
