Juan Ignacio Toledo Testa

Juan Ignacio Toledo Testa has a long and varied work experience. Juan Ignacio began their career in 2001 as a Laboratory Technician at ICMAB - CSIC. In 2006, they joined the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona as a Junior Project Manager, where they were in charge of the university's software used to manage students and teachers data. Juan Ignacio was also responsible for the computer infrastructure of the Networking and Information Theory Department. In 2014, they began working at the Computer Vision Center as a PhD Student, where they applied Deep Learning techniques to document image analysis tasks. Juan Ignacio also worked at Scytl Secure Electronic Voting as a Researcher in Optical Scanning. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona as a Project Manager, leading electronic administration projects with software developed by a contractor. Finally, in 2022, they joined AllRead as a Machine Learning Engineer, Ph.D.

Juan Ignacio Toledo Testa received their Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona between 1998 and 2007. Juan Ignacio then earned their Master of Science in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence from the same university in 2007-2008. Between 2008 and 2012, they earned their Licentiate degree in East Asian Studies from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Ciencias de la computación from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona in 2014-2019.
